Mrs. Sarah Sturm

Howdy! I am the counselor for all 7th grade students at Miller for the 2023-2024 school year.  I have been in education for 19 years and this will be my 11th year as a school counselor.  As a counselor, I can help with decision making/problem solving, motivation, self-esteem, character education, peer mediation, career education and responsive services.  Parents are welcome to contact me if they have any concerns about their child via phone or email.  Outside the school day, students may also contact me via email or through Canvas to set up a time to come into my office or meet online via TEAMS.

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  I am happy to announce I will be the School Counselor for all 8th graders this school year. This makes it possible for me to continue building relationships with our students from last school year while also building ones with students new to the campus. This will be my twenty-third year as an educator and eleventh year with Pearland ISD. I enjoy working with students and parents to address academic, social/emotional, personal, and career matters and feel blessed to do so at Berry Miller JH! Students are able to contact me via their school, Canvas, and/or personal email accounts as well. Please keep in mind that emails sent after school hours will be answered the next school day. Mrs. Tamisha Daniels, MA, M.Ed, LPC-S

Hi! I am Tamisha Daniels and I am the Student Support Counselor for Berry Miller Junior High. I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages and their families over my 20 year career in education.

I completed my undergraduate degree in education from The University of Texas at Austin and my masters degrees at Prairie View A&M University. My over 20 years of experience has allowed me the chance to grow my knowledge and skills and I can't wait to share with you during the year.
